The Youth Mission trip to Gulfport, Mississippi is set for May 28 to
June 3. The required Bible study meets on Wednesday nights @ 8
starting this week (4/12). Please be in prayer for those that are
going.
Church Camp
Church camp will be here before we know it. We
are going to Johnathan Creek again July 2 to July 7. The camp is full but we are keeping
a list of those that are interested in going in case we have cancellations. Check out

Vacation Bible School July 10-14
We will be using the same road trip style we used last
year. Each night we will go to an off-site location that relates to
our lesson. Neccessary details will be given but no one will know
where we are going until we get there. It was great fun last
year.
PAINTBALL
This coming Saturday (May 13) the High School
and Middle School Youth will be going to Paintball Hill at about 9:30
am. The cost is $26 per person and includes gun, mask, air, field
time and 500 paintballs. Extra paint can be purchased for $9 per
500. It will just be us until noon and we can stay until 6 pm.
(I will be leaving before them.) Sign-up sheets are up
now.
ICTHUS
The vote was unanimous (even though
only three people voted). We will be going to
ICTHUS on Thursday, June 15. The schedule is as follows:

I don't know Day of Fire but the others should be
great. The cost is $35 per person and tickets can be pruchased at
the gate. A sign-up sheet will be forthcoming. If you have any

Mission Fundraiser
Once again we will be working the concession stand at
the Lancaster-Garrard County Recreational Park. We are responsible
for June 5 (a Monday) to June 17 (a Saturday). Some of the
money will go to helping kids in Moldova go to camp. For $15 in
American money children can go to a week long Christian Camp. This
is done in assocation with church camp. http://www.state.gov/bgn/5357.htm gives
some details. The rest will go to the
Louisiana/MIssissippi area for disaster relief.
King's Island
The date has been set. Wednesday, July 26 the High
School and Middle School Youth will be spending the day at King's
Island. This will be one of the first outings for our new Middle
Schoolers who are getting ready to leave elementary school. Costs
will be announced when we find out for certain.
