This is a time for our adult missions groups to meet to plan, study,
and/or do mission projects. The first Wednesday of each month has been set
aside for "Mission Night."
This is a group for the ladies. This organization is directed by
Shirley Woods and currently meets quarterly to promote and pray for
special mission opportunities.
Helping Hearts is a newly formed group for young women. This group is
led by Russa Edgington and Melissa Doolin.
This is a group for the men and usually meets in the old fellowship
hall. The focus is upon not just studying about mission, but doing
missions. Local missions may be done during their meeting time. A recent
project was putting a new roof on the home of a needy family in the Irish
town district in Lexington. The Brotherhood director is Brent
Duggins.
The second Sunday of each month is for our monthly business meeting.
This is a time when our church family comes together to hear reports from
different organizations and take action on the various ministries and
needs of our congregation.
